Windows 7, Extended Security Updates

Microsoft has recently released the option to extend security updates for the  Windows 7 operating system after January 14 2020. Here is what you need to know:

Not all companies can upgrade to Windows 10. Although upgrading is the best course of action, 3rd party software or other hardware requirements may prohibit upgrading these systems.

Microsoft has recently released an Extended Security Update (ESU) that allows customer the capability to extend security updates for their current Windows 7 deployment. The ESU is a subscription based security update service provided by Microsoft.

If you are unable to upgrade to Windows 10, please consider the ESU as a final option to assist in protecting your depreciated machine. Please remember, ESU is not support, but security updates only.
