A successful IT Engineer has a broad knowledge of technologies and enjoys solving problems. A Magoo IT Engineer will work with his designated IT Team to ensure partner’s IS systems facilitate their business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain expert knowledge of networking skills within enterprise environment
  • Identify and resolve system issues through the use of internal – external documentation and peer articles
  • Develop partner IT environment utilizing a systems approach
  • Comprehensively document work, and develop support articles for support teams
  • Manage simultaneous projects, and complex schedules
  • Diligently and proactively support partner operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or applicable prior experience
  • Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems
  • Knowing security protocols, IT systems, networking infrastructures and database systems
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Working with inter-disciplinary teams to craft IT solutions
  • Communicating complex information to a non-technological audience
  • Troubleshooting technology problems
  • Familiarity in most server operating systems, AD, VMWare, SQL, C++, Web Application Dev

Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.

Laborer / Apprentice is an entry level position within our field services division. Laborers are assigned to assist field technicians with structural cabling and physical network construction tasks. Laborers are provided on the job training and will always be accompanied by a certified field technician.

The field service division is responsible for hardware and network construction in support of digital assets at over 325 client locations. Common duties include installation of copper and fiberoptic networks, cable termination, installation of physical security systems, installation of network racks and server components, and digital hardware maintenance.

Laborer / Apprentice may certify as a field technician after 12 months apprenticeship in lieu of formal training, or in conjunction with company provided training for the field technician position.

Responsibilities

  • Accept guidance and instruction from their assigned field technician.
  • Execute assigned tasks with precision accuracy
  • Operate light and heavy construction equipment to include
  • Scissor lifts
  • Construction hardware (drills, hammers, trench equipment)
  • Maintain safety standards
